The Planning Advisory Committee provides advice and recommendations to Town Council on matters related to land use planning, development, and community growth. The committee assists Council in the preparation, review, and amendment of planning documents, including the Municipal Planning Strategy, Land-Use By-Law, zoning regulations, subdivision by-laws, and other planning-related matters.

These documents help guide the future growth and development of the Town of Digby by establishing policies, land-use regulations, and long-term community planning objectives.

Meetings are held quarterly, or more frequently as required.
