 Mayor Mike Bartlett

On behalf of the Town Council and our residents, I am pleased to welcome you to the Town of Digby — a vibrant coastal community rich in history, culture, and natural beauty.

Whether you are visiting us for the first time, returning as a familiar friend, or considering making Digby your new home, you’ll find our town warm, welcoming, and full of charm.

Known as the "Scallop Capital of the World," Digby offers world-class seafood, breathtaking views of the Bay of Fundy, and a strong sense of community that is second to none. Our picturesque waterfront, historic streets, and active marina make Digby a destination of choice for travelers, boaters, and those seeking a slower, more connected pace of life.

Throughout the year, we host a variety of festivals and events that showcase our local culture, from the famous Wharf Rat Rally to our much-anticipated Scallop Days. But what truly sets Digby apart is its people — a close-knit community where neighbors know each other, visitors are treated like friends, and civic pride runs deep.

We are proud of our heritage and excited about our future, and we invite you to experience all that Digby has to offer.

Thank you for taking the time to learn more about our town. We hope your time in Digby is enjoyable, memorable, and filled with the warmth that makes our community so special.Mike Bartlett Mayor, Town of Digby
